Description
Players v-cut their way up and down the court, with their up in front of their chest (ready to catch an imaginary pass). Take 2-3 paces to the right and (cut) change direction and speed, then 2-3 paces to the left etc.
In addition to this, when players hear the whistle blow they must stop as quickly as possible. A one count stop is executed. On the second blast of the whistle players can continue to v-cut their way up the court.
Coaching Points
Triple threat position: - Concentrate on pushing off the outside of the foot.
Player should be balanced at all times.
- Feet should be parallel, with knees bent and buttocks down.
- Back straight and head up - scanning ahead!
