General Defensive Structure Tracking from inside to out in an agressive defence line always moving forward not allowing the attackers to dictate the terms.
Defenders are to go up 3 steps as shown with black arrows, then track attackers from inside out as shown with blue arrows. When play goes to one side of ruck, other side defenders will still go up 3 steps but then track horizontally across field in the direction the ball is goin making sure not to cross over other players at any time and the spacings stay even. From there when the tackle is made it will be easy to run vertically back into line in the right position and area of field they need to be in.
