Block play only requires 3 players (AB & C) Player A has ball in-hand. Pushes up as if he/she`s taking the tackle. Player C Pushes up then cuts towards Player A as if he/she is catching a short pass Player B pushes up then veers to the outside of Player C. Important Note Player B must veer behind player C in order for block to work. This play requires timing and precision passing. Variation: Player A can give short ball (or just hold it) to player C if player B is not ready and/or depending on what the defence may be doing. E.i. gap opens up for short ball instead.
