
FLOOR HOCKEY SKILL FOCUS: Dribbling control and receive control. EQUIPMENT: Marker cones, hockey sticks & balls, hoops and goal post. WHAT TO DO: Setup: Place 3 long cones 4 meter apart in a straight line. At the end of the long cones, place two hoops opposite each other (5 meter apart). Place from the end of the wave, through the hoops 8 meters away the goal post. Play the game: Members line up at the starting point. The front member with a hockey stick and the ball. Two learners will be the defenders where they will join the game at the end where two other members will replace them. The defenders stand inside the hoops. The first member will dribble the ball through the cones zigzag. At the last cone they will shoot to try scoring a goal. The defenders also use hockey sticks and try to defend the goal post. The defenders are not allowed outside the hoops.
