Description
Scrimmage: Free play as usual. Emphasize spreading out and looking for teammates to pass to.
Car Game: Each player has a ball and is dribbling around the area following the coaches directions. Some examples include: Go to the green box and then the blue box, dribble to the middle and swap balls with another player, dribble to the red box using your left foot, etc.
Simon Says/ Freeze Tag/ Red Light Green Light: Coaches can choose which of the above games they want to play, but regardless of what they choose, players should each have a ball and be able to get lots of touches on the ball.
Bowling: You can make one line of players or two depending on how many are on the team. Players will take turns passing the ball with the inside of their foot trying to knock down as many cones as they can. The team or player who knocks them all down first wins.
