Set square with either 4/5 players adjust to suit numbers. If 4 just leave one come empty as per picture, or use a triangle area and adjust activities. 1 player in middle, players on out side to all have a ball. (A) Player in middle to recieve a ball in middle, control and pass back, turn and recieve from next player. Rotate middle player. PROGRESSIONS: If only 4 players, introduce players dribbling to free cone once they recieve ball back from middle or recieve return ball on the move to empty cone (1-2) (A, 3) (B) 2 balls across from each other, this time middle player will pass to differnet outside player without ball (player on 45 degree angle), recieve with open body. (If only 4, each player to have ball on outside and play 1-2 into free cone) (C) If 5 players, remove 2 balls so there is only one on each line, (horizontal/vertical) When player recieves pass they are to turn and play to player at other end of square. (if 4 players can intorduce movement after pass as shown) (D) Follow pass from outside to become middle player, middle player to pass out to next player in square and to replace the player entering the middle, working around the square. (if only 4 change to triangle)
Concentrate on quality of pass, good weight and direction. Intorduce a score system 1 pt for each good pass, reset to 0 if a bad pass is made. Talking and eye contact to let passer know your ready, dont make pass before they are ready. Open body position if moving ball to different reciever.
