DESCRIPTION

Set two teams up in centre area of pitch to play a possesion game. each team should have 1 attacker outside the central area in opposition half. Use Goalkeepers if you wish, or a shooting zone, (shoot before or after cones). Start with a ball for each team, they have to pass to their team a set number of passes before playing the ball into the attacking half for the striker to score. Once the idea of the game is there just use 1 ball, to introduce game play scenario. PROGESSIONS: Defender in Att zone, midfielder to join Attack No Attacker in zone, players can dribble or pass forward into zone for another player to move out of central zone into attack. Attacker to only hae 2/3 touches or to have to dribble into striking zone

COACHING POINTS

Good posession, movement and talking in central zone. Make pitch wide to create space for passes Attacker to make good movement to recieve ball, open body to attack goal
