
This is a session designed to create agile and fast forward runs. The players must be attentive react quickly to the correct stimuli and then react to a through ball.
Split the group into two teams and set up the pitch as seen in the diagram to the left. Within their groups get the players to number themselves 1-5. The coach then calls any number or numbers between 1 and 5 and those players must complete the sprint and agility course by making their way through the gates. once through their final gate they must then sprint back to the coach and curve their run through the white gate and run towards goal. As soon as one of the players makes it through the white gate the coach must play a though ball to that player Both players must battle for the ball and try to score for their team. Progress: add more lateral gates that the players must get through before sprinting. send more than one number at a time
